Anti-wrinkle treatments help to soften fine lines and reduce the appearance of wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions. They work by relaxing targeted facial muscles, so the skin appears smoother and more refreshed while your natural expression is kept.
Commonly treated areas include the forehead, the frown lines between the brows and the lines around the eyes. Other areas can also be discussed at your consultation. The procedure is quick and minimally invasive. Results typically begin to appear within a few days, with full results developing over approximately two weeks.
Because this is a prescription treatment, it is always assessed and planned individually. Caroline will only ever recommend it where it is safe and appropriate for you.

The consultation process
Your consultation comes first
All patients must be over 18 and may be asked to produce ID. Before any treatment begins, a thorough consultation is carried out to discuss your goals, assess your medical history and decide the most suitable plan for you. Your safety and satisfaction are the priority.
Prescriber assessed
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a prescription only medicine. A prescription is required and is obtained by a qualified independent prescriber, for which a £25 fee applies. You will always receive honest advice, and only treatments that are safe and appropriate for you.
Looking after your results
Aftercare
Full, personalised aftercare advice is provided following your treatment to give the best possible results and reduce the risk of complications. General guidance includes:
Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for several hours.
Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid excessive heat, such as saunas and sunbeds.
Follow all personalised aftercare instructions provided.
